What You Will Get To Do:

• Design, build and maintain features on a financial services wealth platform within a cross-functional agile delivery team
• Develop full-stack solutions across Angular front-end portals, .NET back-end services, and MS SQL Server
• Take ownership of delivered code, ensuring high quality, maintainability and reliability
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with team members across development, QA and product to deliver iterative, high-quality releases
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling and platform capabilities
• Write and maintain well-tested code, including unit and integration tests

• 3+ years’ experience in software development on production systems
• Strong C# and .NET (Core and Framework) development skills; experience building and maintaining REST APIs and back-end services within a multi-tier web application
• Angular front-end development experience; ability to build and maintain investor or advisor portal UI components
• Solid MS SQL Server skills; ability to write, optimise and maintain queries, stored procedures and database schemas
• Experience working in an agile (Scrum) delivery team; comfortable with sprint ceremonies, user story authoring and acceptance criteria
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for source control; experience with pull requests, branching strategies and code reviews
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes; understanding of how code is built, tested and promoted through environments
• Commitment to code quality; experience writing unit and integration tests, and applying SOLID principles in everyday development
• General experience within the financial services sector or a similarly regulated software environment
• Deep knowledge of wealth management products and business processes: investment portfolios, pensions, savings products, client suitability and reporting
• Experience developing on a multi-tenant platform serving multiple client business units from a single environment
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent); willingness to adopt AI tooling as part of everyday engineering practice
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerised deployment patterns (.NET, Docker)
• Understanding of GDPR, data handling and security requirements within EU financial services platforms
• Exposure to performance optimisation and scalability patterns for financial data processing and reporting
• Experience using Jira for sprint and task management, and SharePoint for technical documentation and team collaboration
