About the role Working Monday to Friday, 13:30 to 22:00, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers around our busy yard. You'll be responsible for positioning equipment, supporting loading and unloading operations, and helping to keep the site running smoothly to meet operational deadlines. You will be responsible for: Safely manoeuvring vehicles and trailers around the yard Carrying out basic vehicle inspections and following safety protocols Coupling and uncoupling trailers in line with site procedures Using approved hand signals and communication methods to coordinate movements Ensuring all activity is completed safely and efficiently Working closely with colleagues to support a smooth yard flow Reporting any issues or defects promptly to supervisors About you You’ll need at least 1 year of driving experience and feel confident operating vehicles in a controlled yard environment. Safety is your top priority, and you’re someone who pays attention to detail, follows procedures, and communicates clearly.
