Operations Director

This is a strategic leadership position with full operational autonomy, ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in M&E delivery, innovation, and business growth. You'll shape the future of sustainable infrastructure in Ireland, overseeing projects that drive decarbonisation and energy efficiency across commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership

Define and execute M&E operational strategy aligned with business goals.

Set performance KPIs and lead continuous improvement across teams.

Advise senior leadership on sustainability, energy tech, and innovation.

Operational & Project Management

Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistent service delivery and compliance.

Manage resources, subcontractors, and engineering teams to drive quality and safety.

Lead planning, delivery, and risk management of complex M&E projects.

Team Leadership & Development

Mentor and develop high-performing teams across engineering and management.

Promote a culture of safety, learning, and technical excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants, and regulators.

Represent the business in high-level meetings, tenders, and inspections.

Support business development with strategic input on bids and proposals.

What We're Looking For :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional status.

10-15+ years of experience in M&E services, with 5+ years at senior leadership level.

Strong commercial and technical acumen, with large-scale project expertise.

Advanced stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Familiarity with industry codes, sustainability frameworks, and energy-efficient solutions.

Proficiency in M&E software and project delivery tools.
