Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyors - All Levels Our client, a well-established main contractor, is currently seeking Quantity Surveyors at Intermediate, Senior and Lead level to join their Commercial Team in Cork, working across a strong pipeline of projects throughout Cork and Munster. The Role: Managing the commercial aspects of construction projects from subcontractor procurement through to final account Preparing and managing subcontractor tender and procurement packages Managing valuations, variations, cost reports and project forecasts Monitoring project costs against budgets and identifying commercial risks Managing subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget Providing commercial reporting and maintaining accurate project records Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline Approximately 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience, ideally with a main contractor Strong experience in subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts Good knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management Experience across residential, commercial, healthcare, education or similar projects desirable Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills Candidates from Intermediate through to Lead QS level will be considered Package: €60k-€100k depending on experience Pension Private healthcare contribution Professional development and training Excellent career progression opportunities Strong pipeline of projects across Cork and Munster If you are a Quantity Surveyor considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Alannah Mongey on for a confidential discussion.
