Senior Financial Accountant | Cork | Permanent Location: Cork Contract: Permanent Working arrangement: Hybrid An opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a busy finance team, supporting financial control, reporting and compliance for a UK business. Key Responsibilities Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital. Oversee capital expenditure, fixed assets and depreciation reporting. Manage VAT compliance and liaise with tax teams. Monitor intercompany balances, reconciliations and settlements. Maintain financial controls, reconciliations and audit documentation. Support statutory accounts, audit queries and period-end reporting. Contribute to process improvements and wider finance projects. Requirements ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification. At least three years' relevant post-qualification experience. Strong technical accounting, financial control and reconciliation skills. Experience with cash flow forecasting, fixed assets and VAT. Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in retail, wholesale or FMCG, and familiarity with ERP systems, would be advantageous.
