At Apleona, We are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to be based at Dublin 14

Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday 38 Hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, equipment, and facilities
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of all the organisation’s facilities
• Maintain and complete repairs to structures, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the site, facilities, and equipment to assess conditions and readiness for visitors.
• Detailed and complete maintenance requirements.
• Undertake configuration and set-up duties for AV requirements for on-site events. Report defects, deficiencies, or health and safety-related issues to the supervisor.
• Promote health and safety throughout the organisation.
• Ensure site and building security.
• Escort and assist service providers and contractors on-site when required.
• Complete open and lock-up procedures across the site.
• Ad hoc duties when required.
• This is a flexible role where our team is required to be available on both weekdays and weekends.

The successful candidate must have:

• Ability to handle multiple requests, prioritise duties, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Dependable and flexible- available to work weekends when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team that values integrity, inclusiveness, respect, and sustainability.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in all circumstances.
• Ability to self-motivate in a fast-moving, changing, and challenging business organisation.
• An empathy with the outdoors
