What You'll Do Design and build our SaaS Protection & Backupify products.Work with product management to develop new features that improve the Managed Service Provider (MSP) experienceDesign and execute software solutions for both relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, and messaging infrastructures such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch.

Drive innovation and automation to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

Be a positive role model that others want to follow and be inspired by.Play a pivotal role in the continuous delivery and upkeep of large, multi-region, distributed systems.

Manage the entire product lifecycle from design to production, ensuring excellence in quality and reliability.Skills You'll Need Strong Back-End developer with object-oriented design and problem-solving skills8+ years of experience delivering reliable and maintainable softwareExposure to debugging low-level Linux issues, utilizing the command line, and shell scripting (bash)Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and algorithmsExperience working with public clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience working with Docker and KubernetesUnderstanding of authentication and authorization frameworks / standards (e.g., OAuth)Familiarity with hypervisors (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, KVM) is a plusFamiliarity with ZFS or similar COW filesystems is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsEven if you don't meet 100% of the skills above, consider applying anyway!Preferred Qualifications Functional programming experienceExperience in the development and upkeep of software primarily focused on ScalaWe do not hire engineers based on specific language skills; rather, we look for people who are willing to potentially learn new languages.

Having said that, we do use PHP (Symfony framework), Ruby, Go, and Python.
