This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated nursing professional ready to lead and support a dynamic team. Requirements : Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to be registered. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant post-registration experience in a nursing home setting. Post-registration qualification in Gerontology and / or Dementia Care is highly desirable. Strong clinical and professional ability, with demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Eligibility to work in Ireland. Key Responsibilities : Uphold exceptional standards of nursing and social care, ensuring alignment with the nursing home policies and best practices. Oversee medication management, ensuring compliance with guidelines and collaborating with GPs and pharmacies for regular reviews and audits. Lead, mentor, and support Staff Nurses and Care Assistants, promoting professional development and a resident-centered approach. Conduct clinical, environmental, and medication audits, implementing action plans to elevate and sustain quality standards. Act as a primary liaison for residents and their families, managing daily interactions and effectively addressing concerns. Why Apply?
