Job description :
On behalf of our client based just outside Limerick city, we are recruiting for Social Care Workers for a brand new residential service.
These roles are on a permanent basis with both full-time and relief contracts available.
Core Responsibilities :
Deliver quality service adhering to professional, national, and local standards.
Work within current legislation, policies, and procedures.
Promote recovery principles and values in service delivery.
Treat service users with dignity, respect, and promote their rights.
Plan, implement, and evaluate care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Support service users' needs, including nutrition, education, social, independent living and document management.
Collaborate with other agencies, and attend relevant meetings.
Participate in crisis management and ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
Engage in professional development, training, and reflective practice.
Comply with health and safety regulations, and report risks or incidents.
Promote a culture of diversity, respect, and sustainable practices.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality.
Assist in the administration and day-to-day operations of the service.
Participate in team meetings and report to management on service delivery.
Cooperate with external monitoring, statutory inspections, and implement recommendations.
