Person In Charge

Our client is a well-established and respected provider of residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities, operating across several locations in County Limerick, including Kilmallock, Croom, and Ballyagran. They are currently seeking a committed and experienced Person In Charge (PIC) to lead their dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care and support in line with HIQA regulations. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards. The ideal Candidate will have : Not less than 3 years' experience working with children / adults with an intellectual disability in a residential setting. Social care worker (CORU Registered) or Nursing qualification (Must have NMBI registration / PIN) Proven managerial skills with not less than three years' experience at management level and an appropriate management qualification to Fetac / QQI level 6 or equivalent. Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a staff team effectively. Experience of managing residential budgets. A detailed knowledge of HIQA. Experience working with adults with behaviours that challenge (desirable).
