Veon is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team based in our head office in Leopardstown, Dublin 18.
This is a critical support position requiring excellent attention to detail, strong administrative and numerical skills, and the ability to work with discretion in a finance environment.
A hands-on role supporting our growing business areas, it is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Accountant with strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities :
Prepare period-end accounts, PCL, and balance
Manage and assist with accounts payable process including processing supplier payments, purchase order processing, purchase order
Manage and assist with accounts receivable process including issuing sales invoices, statements and follow up letters and debtor
Ensure bank reconciliation integrity on a weekly
Provide cashflow planning
Ensure compliance with Revenue Commissioners for VAT, Form 46G filings and RCT contract
Assist with Audit
Support and supervise finance team members
Continuously review processes and controls, recommending improvements where necessary.
Requirements :
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
Minimum 2 – 4 years accounting, preferably in a professional services
Ability to multitask and have experience working in a fast paced
Excellent organisational skills and attention to
Proven experience of using Accounts Systems preferably
Excellent IT skills including Word and
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a
