Financial Analyst Reporting Directly to the CFO This is a very unique and great opportunity to learn the business directly from a CFO of a very successful and large Irish Company and will offer great exposure across the Group with significant opportunities for progression. The Financial Analyst will work directly with and is responsible for supporting the CFO, and the site financial teams in all finance related matters for the Group when needed. The Financial Analyst will be an integral member of the finance team and will be instrumental in the delivery of accurate financial reporting to the business unit, projects, commercial analysis, general support for the CFO and ad hoc work when needed. Responsibilities : Main function of this role is to support the CFO in all finance aspects when necessary. Conduct financial analysis to identify information for improvement across the business. Coordinate, project, & manage various profitable projects for the organisation. Provide detailed analysis and financial insights to relevant stakeholders. Preparation of key performance indicators. Build and maintain cross functional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Promote saving opportunities and a continuous improvement culture throughout the different businesses. Involvement in commercial projects to facilitate improved business performance. Take an active role in day-to-day finance activities, working together with other key stakeholders and service providers. Ideal Candidate : The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who is willing to work in all aspects of finance and accounting from projects, month end, commercial analysis, general support for the CFO but also to help other finance teams when necessary. The ideal candidate will also have to be comfortable with traveling, as this position would entail traveling. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter and comfortable working on something new every day and to be able to deal with ad hoc requests.
