Job Description : As a Filleter / Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a pleasant shopping experience while maintaining the highest standards of seafood quality. This position combines retail responsibilities with fish processing tasks. Key Responsibilities : - Assist customers with their seafood selections and provide knowledge about different fish types and preparation methods. - Process and prepare seafood, including filleting, gutting, and portioning, while adhering to hygiene and safety standards. - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and processing areas. - Stock shelves and display cases, ensuring products are fresh and attractively presented. - Handle cash registers and process customer transactions accurately. - Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations. - Assist in inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed. Qualifications : - Previous experience in a retail or seafood processing environment is preferred. - Knowledge of various seafood types and preparation techniques is an advantage. - Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks. - Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards. - Availability to work (insert expected hours / days).
