Retail and Deli Manager

Career Vision Recruiters are looking for an experienced and passionateRetail and Deli Manager to lead our clients Artisan Deli and Store and deliver top-quality service and products in a well-known and busy hospitality and retail establishment currently undergoing refurbishment. This property is located on the Meath / Louth border, so this position would ideally suit someone with their own transport. As Retail and Deli Manager, youll take full ownership of both the deli department and the broader retail offeringensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high food and merchandising standards, and creating an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities : Oversee the daily operations of the deli counter, kitchen prep area, and retail floor Manage, train, and motivate a team of deli and retail assistants Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and quality standards(HACCP) Handle ordering, stock control, inventory management, and waste reduction Ensure strong visual merchandising and effective product displays across the retail section Drive sales through outstanding customer service and appealing product presentation Monitor team performance and ensure sales and service targets are consistently met What Youll Bring : Previous deli and / or food retail experience in a managerial or supervisory role Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills In-depth knowledge of retail operations, food safety regulations, and best practices A hands-on approach with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure A customer-first attitude and a strong team spirit Ability to analyse sales data and make improvements based on customer trends If youre ready to take the next step in your retail and deli management career, wed love to hear from you.
