Our client, a Top Tier Firm based in Dublin City Centre, is looking for a Funds Solicitor to join their team.

The Role :

Represent asset managers, including drafting key fund documentation such as prospectuses and supplements.

Negotiate and draft material fund contracts including administration and depositary agreements, investment management agreements, and management agreements.

Apply to the Central Bank and obtain authorization for asset managers to act as discretionary investment managers to UCITS and QIAIFs.

Discuss new funds with both start-up and experienced managers.

Apply for the registration of UCITS and QIAIFs with foreign regulatory authorities.

Advise clients on the application of fund regulations to their business, including registering firms with the Central Bank as a Registered AIFM.

Review fund documentation.

The Candidate :

Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland or England with 3+ years' PQE.

Interest in working on mandates that don't fit traditional private funds roles, including joint venture agreements and occasional M&A transactions in the funds space.

Strong technical skills.

Good ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Works well in a team.
