Applications are invited for the following position :
Social Care Worker
Community Residential Service, ST VINCENT'S CENTRE DUBLIN
Permanent full time contract (39 HPW)
Permanent part time contract (35 HPW)
Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Location : Dublin service.
Requirements
QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies or equivalent; the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
Up to date CORU registration / Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU.
Must have full automatic driving licence; driving service vehicles is a requirement.
Experience working within the area of intellectual disability and those who have behaviours of concern.
To adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best lives and an awareness of New Directions.
Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
