Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

Adecco Cork are looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client for a temporary assignment.

Temporary assignment (approximately 6-8 weeks) Pay rate €17.25 - €17.94 per hour DOE Fully Onsite role

• Candidates should be readily available for work Key Responsibilities : Accurately process and verify incoming invoices for goods and services, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Maintain organised accounts payable records, including logging, tracking, and filing of invoices.

Reconcile transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports with account balances.

Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centres by analysing invoices and expense reports, recording entries, and ensuring accuracy.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, or payments promptly.

File and manage financial documents in an orderly and secure manner to safeguard sensitive information.

Contribute to the department's and organisation's success by taking ownership of new tasks and identifying opportunities to enhance value through your work.

What We're Looking For : At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced accounts payable environment.

Proficiency in Intact IQ is a strong advantage.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with finance team members and external vendors.

A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
