Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher

Talbot Hotel Midleton, part of the Talbot Collection are currently recruiting for a Part Time Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Leisure Centre and the running and organization of swim classes. The Leisure Centre Attendant / Swim Teacher will report to the Leisure Centre Manager.

Duties will include :

• Conducting Programmes and Assessments
• Teaching Fitness Classes
• Teaching swimming
• Supervise swimming pool area
• Meet highest standard of safety
• Present professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
• All other duties as assigned and appropriate
• Responsible for the safety of the participants in their own class
• Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons

The role involves weekend work so flexibility is required.
