Primaire Consulting are partnered with a global leader in biosecurity and food safety who are specialist manufacturers of detergents and disinfectants, who provide a unique technical hygiene service to the food and service industries.

Through consistent growth and investment, they have become one of the UK and Ireland's leading providers in this sector, working in partnership with both blue-chip and independent companies.

We are currently seeking a

Technical Sales Consultant

to join their Ireland Division.

The role will be based in the

Cork region

, ideally within commuting distance of Tipperary, Limerick, or Waterford.

Responsibilities

Servicing and supporting a portfolio of end-user customer accounts (including food processors, dairy producers, and food manufacturers).

Delivering on-site training in chemical safety and product application.

Completing service reports using our bespoke service application to support sales, cost control, safety, and sustainability objectives.

Surveying and prospecting for new business opportunities.

Updating CRM systems and service planners to ensure accurate account management.

Managing relationships with distributors in the region.

Providing input into marketing initiatives, service improvements, and business development strategies.

Ensuring full compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements.

Experience & Competencies

Previous experience within the food hygiene industry, technical service roles, or a sales-focused environment.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Full driving license.

Knowledge of chemical hygiene products and regulatory requirements is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
