Implementation consultant

Implementation Consultant Location : Remote (Ireland-based) Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Implementation Consultant to join their Professional Services team. This role focuses on configuring and consulting on risk and compliance solutions, supporting global customers through successful software implementations. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with customer success, sales, support, product development, and engineering teams, gaining deep technical expertise while directly engaging with clients. All new consultants benefit from a structured onboarding program and ongoing mentorship, ensuring you're set up for long-term success. Responsibilities

• Configure software applications for customers using a consultative, enablement-based approach
• Lead and coordinate multiple customer implementations simultaneously
• Translate customer requirements into tailored solutions
• Deliver deep product and technical expertise to clients
• Facilitate workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and training (remote and onsite where required)
• Consult on system configuration aligned with product and industry best practices
• Run regular touchpoints, including status meetings, with customers in a professional manner
• Contribute to best practices, methodologies, and team process improvements Desired Experience & Skills
• Degree in computer science, business information systems, or related discipline (postgrad a plus)
• Experience in client-facing roles, ideally within software implementation or IT consulting
• Strong comfort with software configuration, data manipulation, and spreadsheet analysis
• Knowledge of databases, relational data, and technical fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and project management experience
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and customer success
• Team player with a proactive, self-starter approach
