Assistant Accountant

Your new company We are currently working with a well-established Practice based in South Dublin that is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to €45,000, depending on experience.

Your new role The successful candidate will support the daily operations of an accounting practice, including processing client invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll and VAT returns, and contributing to month-end reporting.

You will liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure accurate financial administration.

What you'll need to succeed To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a practice or a related sector, and be actively working towards a relevant accounting qualification.

Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel are essential.

The company is looking for someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
