Azure engineer

Quest Software is looking for an experienced Saa S Software Developerto be part of the On Demand team in the Cork, Ireland office, within Quests Platform Management Group.

We are working onbuilding serverless cloud native Saa S solutions using the latest technologies in the Microsoft Azure platform.

The teammemberwillbe responsible forthe design,development,and successful implementation of softwareutilizingthe latest software best practices.? The candidate will be working in a highlyagile, SCRUM teamand using thelatesttechnologies and coding environments.

The candidate will be part of a global development product team and will need to be able to overlap some working hours with team members in the US Eastern time zone.

Work on an R&D team buildingserverless cloud native Saa S solutions using the latest technologies in the Microsoft Azure platform Build commercial products that work acrossnumerous Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Share Point, etc.

Be a member of an agile SCRUM team and be motivated to produce high quality codethat meets business requirements Develop leadership within the team by taking on design activities for components and taking ownership of their success.

Mandatory : Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent Minimum of5 yearsworking experience in software development Strong working experience with C# / .

NET Core Experience in writing quality code with techniques such as unit testing, mocking, automation, integration testing, and code coverage Good understanding ofmodern software practices including design patterns, SOLID principles,coding standards, andagile software development practices.

Ability to work withina microservicearchitecture Solid understanding of building scalable web applications using Web API, RESTful API design Experience in working with Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes & AKS Experience with Azure Stackor Entra ID, Developing andmaintaining CI / CDpipelines forbuildand deploymentof servicesand componentsusing Azure Dev Ops(preferred), Jenkins, or similar systems.

Ability toproduce and documentdesignsand specifications for new features and services Experienceworking withmultipleagile development teamsacross different time zones Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Desired : Proficiencyin Python Frontend development using frameworks such as Angular (preferred), React or Vue JS Serverless development using Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or Containers.
