Job Title : Trainee Field Engineer

Location : Dublin (Travel across Ireland required)

Salary : €27,000 – €30,000 + company benefits

Driving Licence : A full Irish driving licence is essential

Overview :

We are seeking two highly motivated Trainee Field Engineers to join our client’s team based in Dublin , Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field, working across a variety of environments and tasks. The ideal candidates will have some previous experience in relevant areas or will be enthusiastic to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with on-site work in environments similar to construction (e.g. working alongside carpenters, electricians, etc.)
• Support the installation of cabling over long distances, which may involve using ladders and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats and work boots.
• Operate power tools, including cordless drills.
• Assist with the installation of hardware, such as brackets and cabinets.
• Use hand tools, including snips, crimps, and screwdrivers.
• Be prepared for early morning starts when required.
• Travel across Ireland to various job sites.
• Perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
• Work at heights on ladders or platforms when necessary.
• Adapt to varying work hours-flexibility is crucial as shifts may not follow a 9-5 schedule.
