Job Title : Civil Design Engineer Location : Dublin, Ireland Rate : €50-€70K, depending on experience About the Opportunity Morgan McKinley is seeking a talented and experienced Civil Design Engineer for an exciting position in Dublin. We're partnering with a leading engineering and design consultancy that is well-known for its work on a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects across Ireland. The Role As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be a key member of a collaborative design team, responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include : Undertaking detailed civil engineering design for a range of projects, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and public realm spaces. Producing technical drawings, reports, and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. Conducting feasibility studies and site investigations to inform design decisions. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines. Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Assisting with project management, including monitoring budgets, timelines, and resources. Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need : A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in a civil design role, preferably within a consultancy environment. Strong technical proficiency with civil design software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D. A solid understanding of Irish design standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Progress towards or a desire to achieve Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable. Why Apply?
