Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer

TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in Kerryto recruit a Temporary Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer. Hours : Monday to Friday, 35 hour working week Location : Tralee Contract : Fixed term maternity cover till 31 / 10 / 2026 Pay rates : €19.50 to €30.07 per hour depending on verified relevant public sector experience. Role Overview : This temporary position provides administrative and PA support within the Childrens Care team. The role involves maintaining accurate records and trackers, managing sensitive information, and supporting the Principal Social Worker with a range of clerical and coordination duties. Key Responsibilities : -Provide PA and administrative support to the Principal Social Worker. -Maintain and update departmental trackers and upload relevant information to the CRM system for HIQA audit purposes. -Manage and update database records accurately and efficiently. -Prepare and type correspondence, letters, and reports as required. -Take minutes of meetings and distribute appropriately. -Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion at all times. -Complete and return weekly timesheets for Social Workers. -Log and track all correspondence and activities appropriately. -Provide reception cover as required, including greeting visitors and managing calls. -Carry out filing duties (minimal, as most documentation is managed online). -Support general office administration and assist colleagues as needed. Key Skills & Attributes : -Proven administrative experience, preferably within a social care or healthcare setting. -Strong knowledge of database management and CRM systems. -Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when updating trackers. -Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems. -Professional, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
