Meica Project Engineer - Water & Wastewater

About the Role : We are thrilled to announce that, due to the award of multiple contracts with a leading Irish utility provider, we have several exciting roles to fill in our MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company where you will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects (Water & Wastewater) across Ireland.As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants and various pumping stations.No two days will be the same, so your activities will vary and will be agreed with the Contracts Manager on an ongoing basis.

You will support the design team through the process up to and including the onsite installation and commissioning.

The roles on offer, are office, site and a mixture of both depending on location and project involved.Key Responsibilities : Project management of all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical / Electrical / ICA requirements with minor civil works includedCo-ordinating safety and liaising with EPS Group HSQE DeptSupporting the design team in delivering innovative solutions & using modern technologiesProcurement of all items required for project deliveryCreating the project program and ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handoverLiaising & coordinating all works with the client and relevant stakeholdersManagement of all site labour including subcontractorsEnsuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budgetWriting engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedulesResponsible for all O&M and Health & Safety documentation and enforcement of safe work practices onsite during all site installations Key Competencies and Skills : Have proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electrical environmentProficiency in PC skills to include MS office and Project software is advantageousGood inter-personal and communication skillsStrong engineering, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environmentHave a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater IndustryInterest in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted scheduleDevelop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines Qualifications : Third level Mechanical / Electrical or Automation Engineering degreeSimilar relevant third level qualification and experience will be consideredFull EU / Irish driving licence Compensation Package : Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career growthCPD accredited employerA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone providedFlexible working options, dependent on location and role requirementsSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
