JOB PURPOSE The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplined maintenance team tasked with the maintenance and upkeep of the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
The Campus is some 500 acers in size and is the headquarters fornumerousNational Government Bodies, for example, The Football Association of Ireland, The Sports Institute of Ireland, Special OlympicsIrelandand many others.
The Campus also houses the National Aquatic Centre and the National Indoor Arena.
The role will also involve the provision of support to department colleagues andthird-partycontractors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform preventive maintenance routines as guided by a maintenance calendar.
Ensure scheduled PPM are performed and completed intimelymanner.
Maintaining up to date records on the PPM system as tasks are completed.
Complete post PPM repairs Perform scheduled inspection on life systemse.g.
Fire Detections and Alarm Systems, Fire Hydrants and Extinguishers.
Complete general repairs to both building fabric and services.
Complete PAT testing Assistthird party contractors in carrying out their duties on the Campus.
Assist the Maintenance Team with Campus General Operative Tasks asrequired Unblocking toilets and drains asrequired Assistand support all out ofhoursevents asrequested(this will include scheduled weekend work) JOBHOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Key Skills andKnowledge (Education & Related Experience) Minimum age of 18 years old or over Minimum of Leaving Certificate qualification or equivalent Must haveprevious experience in a maintenance or facility services role Must havepreviousexperience inusing handheld tools and equipment (drills, grinders, cutting tools, Jig saws etc) Must haveexperience of working at height, of A frame ladder, Podiums, Mobile Elevated Working Platforms 2 years experience completing first fix carpentry and plumbing repairs is essential IT Literate experience of MS Officeand MaintenanceManagementSystems.
Familiar with computer aided facility management software (CMMS) Safe Pass Full Irish Drivers Licence KeyBehaviours : Maintains positive, productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
