Job Description :

As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with a client in Mullingar to find an experienced and dedicated Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist who will be providing a comprehensive specialist acute adult speech therapy service.

The ideal candidate will provide a quality speech and language therapy service to adults with communication / swallowing difficulties in an acute setting; completing assessment and intervention for adult inpatients.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Speech & Language Therapy teams in the country. This role is required on a temporary basis for 3 months initially with full time hours required (35 hours per week).

Requirements :

A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered as an SLT with CORÚ

Certification and competence in managing dysphagia / feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing disorders

Previous experience working in acute service is desirable - will consider new graduate SLT who has had recent clinical placements in a hospital setting

Full UK / ROI Drivers License and Access to a car on appointment

Right to live and work in the UK / Ireland
