Reliability Specialist

A Reliability Specialist is required by Career Wise Recruitment to join our Co Cork Biotech client a 12-month initial contract role.

The Reliability Specialist will be the primary owner of the Asset Maintenance Strategy operating within the site Engineering Co E ROLE :

• Improve asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimisation of the site maintenance process.
• Provide expert advice on improving Equipment Reliability, Risk Based Asset Management, and Cost Management, and act in a consultative fashion to assist with equipment issues.
• Develop engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
• Maintain the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of the results.
• Analyses equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns, both c Gx P and EHS.
• Reduces and improves maintenance work, assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost.
• Benchmarks other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques.

Implements digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
