Practice Accountant

Morgan McKinley has partnered with a Cork based Accounting practice to hire an Accountant. In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of SME clients focusing on audit, tax and accounts preparation.

• Please note this position is 100% on site and requires the successful candidate to have experience with Irish corporate and personal tax returns. Responsibilities : Preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practices Preparing corporate and personal tax returns Investigating issues identified during engagements and proposing effective solutions Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients Delivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner Meeting fee targets for your assigned client portfolio Preparing technical documentation, briefs, and checklists for both internal team use and client support What We're Looking For : 3-5 years of experience in an Irish accounting practice ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress) Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Skills : Accountant VAT TAX Audit
