The Role

Due to their continued growth and ambitious plans for further expansion in their Audit and Assurance Department, the Company is recruiting an Audit Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships to deliver a high-quality client experience, managing teamwork-plans and budgets and ensuring an excellent talent experience for their team of highly proficient professionals.

There are excellent opportunities for career progression to Partner level within the Company's Audit and Assurance team.

As a senior member of the Audit and Assurance team, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following :

Leading a significant client portfolio

• Leading business winning initiatives, including identifying and cross selling business opportunities and leading tender processes to potential new business partners;
• Providing strong technical guidance to ensure the delivery of a quality audit and related advice to our clients within budget and to agreed timeframes;
• Leading a team of professionals to ensure a high-quality talent experience for our staff and overseeing all associated management activities;
• Coaching members of the team focusing on their technical, commercial and personal development;
• Managing and monitoring the department key performance indicators on a periodic basis;
• Contributing to the strategic planning within the business unit and to firm wide initiatives;

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience :

Qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with practice experience at a senior level within a Top 20 firm.

Ability to contribute to the overall growth and management of the audit and advisory business unit.
