Facilitate and encourage decision-making, independence, and personal development.Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health and appearance.Work in a person-centred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practiceAdminister and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.Essential Requirements
Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.Registered (or in process) with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.Hold a full Irish driving licensePrior experience in social care or healthcare.Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.Excellent verbal and writing skills.Garda Vetting / Police ClearanceIND1
