Data center facility manager

We're seeking an engineering leader to drive operational excellence in our data center environments.

You'll be at the forefront of maintaining mission-critical infrastructure, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers through strategic management and technical expertise.

Key job responsibilities - Manage and lead shift technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality operational standards - Oversee multiple data center availability zones, implementing strategic infrastructure management - Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that enhance facility efficiency and performance - Operate and manage critical systems including power distribution, generators, cooling infrastructure, and monitoring systems - Support facility expansion and infrastructure development projects A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic planning, hands-on technical oversight, and team leadership.

You'll navigate dynamic environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain our data center operations.

About the team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's or Technical Degree in Engineering or related field - Demonstrated experience managing teams in mission-critical technical environments - Proven ability to manage large-scale technical services - Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Data Center Engineering Experience - Experience in mission-critical operations environment (e.g.

power facility, high technology manufacturing, healthcare, aviation maintenance, oil and gas) preferably linked to a 24 / 7 uninterrupted operations.
