Part Qualified Accountant – Leinster

Overview

GPC Finance is currently working with a reputable firm with experience in accounting, taxation and business advice for over 20 years.

They serve a wide variety of clients, both nationally & internationally and offer a comprehensive range of services to both individual & corporate clients.

They are currently seeking an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team in Leinster, who will support the finance team in various accounting functions, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.

Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including gathering and analysing financial data and preparing reports for management review.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance filings, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
