Our client is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Officer to join our team and play a key role in protecting and supporting our people.

What Youll Do As a Health & Safety Officer, youll be responsible for ensuring our policies and practices not only meet legal obligations but also promote the well-being of their workforce.

Your day-to-day will include : Advising and guiding managers, supervisors, and employees on health & safety matters.

Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and investigations, ensuring timely action planning.

Leading internal audits and supporting external audit processes.

Developing and implementing H&S policies in line with legislation.

Delivering in-house training and coordinating external training sessions.

Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.

What Were Looking For Seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and confident person adept to in driving high standards.

Essential : NEBOSH General Certificate.

Relevant training qualification.

35 years experience in a similar role (or strong demonstrable knowledge).

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).

Full driving licence / access to transport.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs.

Desirable : Degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience within the food industry.
