Financial Accountant, Not For Profit, Dublin City

Our client is a Not-for-Profit organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be part of a team working in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Suited to either a Newly Qualified or Finalist Accountant looking to join a friendly team in a busy & rewarding position. Responsibilities Conduct monthly reviews of the financial performance of business units, offering valuable insights to facilitate effective decision-making at the budget holder level. Analyze costs and monitor financial trends to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement cost control measures when needed. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and providing commentary. Support the Financial Controller in fulfilling Board and committee analysis requirements, including creating comprehensive monthly reports, cash flows, key performance indicators, and consolidating subsidiary data. Play an active role in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business modeling, working closely with the Executive Management Team to ensure alignment with organizational strategy. Provide financial modeling assistance to the Fundraising Department. Work collaboratively with finance and operational management to enhance financial reporting processes. Assist with special projects as needed for the CEO and Executive Management Team. Serve as a Business Partner by maintaining close communication with budget holders to stay informed about service developments and financial resource needs. Participate in project teams to offer financial guidance as required. Candidate Requirements : Minimum 3 years experience in accounts preparation. Finalist or Part-Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CPA. Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
