Finance manager Jobs in Dublin

My client based in West Dublin within the tech space have a requirement for an International Financial Controller. To be suitable you will be qualified with at least 8 years pqe, 4 or more at finance manager or financial controller level. You will also have exposure to the management of finance or multiple European roles. If you have worked within a start up where you have grown finance this would be an advantage About Your New Employer Well established Strong work Life Balance Varied role About Your New Job Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to US GAAP, ensuring proper reconciliation of accounts and compliance with local EU regulations. Record and analyze day-to-day financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and intercompany transactions. Manage VAT and corporate tax filings in accordance with local EU tax laws, including calculations, reporting, and communication with tax authorities. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management, invoice processing, and collection of outstanding payments. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data. Collaborate with the US accounting team to ensure seamless integration of European financial data, including intercompany transactions and reporting. Analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Stay updated on relevant EU accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and ensure compliance with local regulations. Own the ledgers and finance system - Daily maintenance of the Finance system, Acumatica, covering all daily processes and controls. Oversee the purchase ledger functions, supported by a transactional Assistant. Operate the sales ledger functions, associated systems and bank reconciliations. Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary. Regular bank reconciliations and associated transactions.
