SiriusXMs new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXMs streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms. Whats the Opportunity? As a Software Engineer III, youll be a key player in maintaining and developing new features for our 360L SiriusXM application, which runs on Android, Linux, and Windows platforms. Built with C++ / Qt Framework, this application supports UI / UX trials and provides advanced streaming audio and interactive interfaces for automotive customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of participating in an embedded SW development team, designing, implementing, and testing sophisticated software architectures. Office Location : Saint Stephens Green, Dublin 2 Hybrid Policy is Three days a weekin the office Responsibilities : Design, document, and implement features to deliver SAT and IP streaming audio experiences to customers. Support the full software development lifecycle from feature definition to release and customer support. Analyze product requirements and collaborate with the team to design innovative, customer-driven solutions. Write, review, and maintain high-quality code that meets functional and quality standards. Engage in special projects, lab and field testing, and support SiriusXM Radio products as needed. Requirements : Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or related field (Masters preferred). 3-5 years of experience in embedded software development for consumer or automotive products. Proficiency with Android, and languages / frameworks like C / C++, Java, and Kotlin. Familiarity with source control (GitHub), CI / CD, unit testing, and agile methodologies. Strong understanding of real-time software and system design concepts. Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
