A leading Tech Company is looking for an experienced Program Manager with their Compliance team. Great for someone with 5 years experience working in Compliance / Regulation & Project Management.
You demonstrate working knowledge of functional compliance areas at a product level or risk area level (privacy, content, etc.) and deliver full pieces of a project that are integrated into overarching projects, with minimal assistance.
You plan and execute prioritised project work, select appropriate methods to most effectively achieve project objectives, and identify compliance risks.
You address commonly escalated issues or triage, when required, and identify and recommend creative ways to improve on solutions to defined problems.
You collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams and coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for assigned components.
Plan and execute prioritised project work and second-line-of-defence controls, select an appropriate method to most effectively achieve objectives, and identify compliance risks. Show willingness to challenge the status quo, takes informed risks to drive more effective, efficient, and / or systemic analysis and problem-solving.
Deliver full pieces of a compliance project or process that are integrated into the overarching program, with minimal assistance. Identify and document compliance program deficiencies, including procedures to report findings to business stakeholders and executive leadership. Ensure that compliance programs are kept up to date and address evolving risks, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and user expectations.
Identify and recommend creative ways to improve on solutions to defined problems via selection of better methods / tools, controls, or processes. Address commonly escalated issues or triage, when required. Gather partial data and events timelines to identify and confirm non-compliance with internal policies in suspected control breaches. Identify and deliver actions required to remediate breaches with support from peers and manager.
Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate strong ethical judgement and integrity in all dealings. Own drafting of materials to train business partners on compliance programs and policies. Deliver segments of live trainings with support from more senior colleagues.
Knowledge & Skills :
- Ability to understand data analysis regarding compliance and regulatory processes or statistics.
- Ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and ability to speak competently to the level of the audience.
- Knowledge of risk and control frameworks to create business value and minimise risk.
- Knowledge of building new programs and processes across a matrixed organisation.
- Knowledge of relevant global and industry-wide regulatory and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of project planning methodology, deployment planning process, and sequence. This includes the ability to understand, or to manage smaller parts or phases of a bigger project, or an understanding of how to translate project requirements into a plan that can be communicated clearly and implemented.
- Ability to create positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of expectations and agreed objectives, building trusting, collaborative relationships and rapport with different stakeholders and businesses. This includes being approachable, engaged, authentic, and relating well to people regardless of personality or background.
