Early Years Educator

Job Description

W are looking for someone who is passionate about childcare to come join our small team. The age range of children in our service are aged 2-5 years of age. We are seeking someone who is prepared to provide a safe, secure and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children. We wish for the person to have a genuine caring nature, have pride in their work and to be able to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be called for an interview and must be willing to undergo reference checks and Garda Vetting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establish and build a positive relationship with the children, their parents and the staff onsite.
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment where all children feel safe and valued.
• Observe, guide and supervise children while they learn in the classroom environment.
• Good communication skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.

Hours

40 Hours per week (7 : 30-4 : 30 / 9 : 30-6 : 30 on rotation)

Salary

To be discussed depending on qualifications.
