Our client, a successful mid-sized Chartered Accountancy & Audit practice based in Dublin South, is currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the organisation.

The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, quality focussed team working to ensure their varied client base is serviced to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities will include –Practice Accounting – attending meetings with accountants, clients as requiredAssisting in the preparation of client's accounts, tax returns and audit schedulesWorking closely with and reporting to senior experienced accountantsPreparation and submission of VAT and PAYE returns What's on offer –Along with salary, Chartered Accounting exams + professional subscriptions paid for, Study materials + paid study leave as well as mentorship in a collaborative and understanding environment

Candidate Profile –A recent 2nd class honours degree in any business, finance or mathematics related disciplineExcellent communication skillsComputer skills : Excel- strong level requiredDemonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks Patrick O'Rourke is an accountancy recruitment specialist, experienced in placing candidates from entry to Director level.
