Head of External Financial Reporting & Financial IT Systems Education Position Description 9-month contract position with one of Irelands top universities. Reporting to the CFO, key elements of role will involve : Leadership of a finance team responsible for production of the annual consolidated statutory financial statements Annual Audit management, liaising with the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General Oversight over IT systems development Assistance with management of Transformational change within the finance function Stakeholder Management C&AG, HEA, University Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee and more Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background : Qualified Accountant, with minimum 10 years relevant PQE Experience working in a large, complex Group with strong technical accounting skills Highly organised, and ability to navigate through a finance transformation Excellent stakeholder management skills Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills About Our Client Our client is one of Irelands top Universities.
