Overview
Due to continued expansion of eir evo we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Level 1 Deskside Support Engineer that endeavours to become an integral part of our Managed Services Team, working on a dedicated team for a prestigious client, supporting an evolving and exciting multi-technology IT environment.
The successful candidate will work on and receive exposure to different technologies, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud (Azure), as well as the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.
This role is based onsite with our customer in Dublin City Centre.
- This is a 3 month contract from 1 / 8 / 25 to 31 / 10 / 25
The role would involve :
Monitoring and Management support and configuration of customer’s infrastructureProvision accounts and equipmentDesktop Support for customerSupporting Windows Desktops, Outlook, Networks, Ms. Office, OConfiguration of Microsoft Server, Exchange, Active Directory.Maintain and build the current documentation in placeHardware troubleshootingInteracting with and managing 3rd partiesApplication troubleshooting and supportImaging and DeploymentManage File Permissions and Access RightsConfiguration and Support of Mobile DevicesExperience
2+ years Working in a deskside support environment (required)Application Support – 1st LevelWindows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office – Level 1 supportOffice and Virtualization experience advantageous.Customer Services, Call HandlingIt would be preferred if the candidate had one of the following accreditations and experience
