Procurement & Merchandising Manager

About the Role :

In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of the entire procurement and merchandising process — from supplier selection and negotiation to range planning, inventory management, and sales performance analysis. You’ll work closely with suppliers, sales teams, and retail partners to deliver the right products, at the right time, and at the right price, ensuring customer satisfaction and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and procure goods and materials in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Negotiate favourable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, conducting ongoing performance evaluations.
• Identify new suppliers, cost-saving initiatives, and product opportunities.
• Analyse sales data, customer insights, and market trends to develop effective merchandise plans.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and retail teams to align product ranges with market demand.
• Monitor stock levels and implement effective replenishment strategies.
• Lead product range selections, seasonal promotions, and new product introductions.
• Track product performance and adjust plans to maximise sales and profitability.
• Partner with finance and logistics teams to ensure efficient procurement and inventory flows.
• Generate reports on procurement activity, sales trends, and stock performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement best practices.
• Conduct regular store walk-throughs to stay close to product performance and customer feedback.
