Description of the role :

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and the effective and efficient management of resources by leading, managing and developing the nursing and healthcare assistant team to ensure excellence in patient care.

Requirements :

• Registered in the relevant division of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]
• A minimum of 5 years full time relevant post qualification experience, preferably in an acute general medical / surgical situation.
• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity. To lead, manage and motivate the nursing team, delegating responsibility
• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development

Salary :

60, – €76, (dependant on years’ experience)
