We are committed to the highest standards of care and are now seeking a Quality Compliance Controller to help us maintain and strengthen our service delivery through robust governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
Role Purpose :
The Quality Compliance Controller will play a key leadership role in ensuring that all services provided by Platinum Homecare are delivered in accordance with HSE National Standards for Home Support Services , relevant Irish legislation, and internal quality standards. This role ensures that care delivery is safe, effective, and continuously improving through rigorous quality assurance, risk management, and staff training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance systems and internal audit programmes across all homecare services.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and HSE requirements, including risk management, infection control, safeguarding, and data protection (GDPR).
- Lead the organisation’s readiness for HSE / ISO inspections and other regulatory reviews; support the implementation of any post-inspection action plans.
- Monitor and analyse incidents, complaints, feedback, and service delivery trends to identify risk areas and drive improvements.
- Work closely with operational teams to provide guidance on care standards, policies, and regulatory changes.
- Regularly review and update organisational policies and procedures to reflect best practice and current legislation.
- Deliver or coordinate training for staff on compliance-related topics, including safeguarding vulnerable adults, GDPR, and health & safety.
- Prepare compliance and quality reports for senior management, including KPIs, audit outcomes, and improvement plans.
- Act as a key contact for all quality-related queries and support the investigation and resolution of complaints and safeguarding matters.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning throughout the organisation.
Essential Requirements :
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance, governance, or quality assurance role within health or social care.In-depth knowledge of HSE standards, the Health Act 2007, and other relevant Irish legislation.Experience with internal audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Full clean driving licence and access to own transport (for site visits where required).Desirable :
Relevant third-level qualification in Health and Social Care, Quality Management, or a related field.Experience in the homecare or community care sector.Experience supporting services through successful HSE inspections.Training or certification in Safeguarding, GDPR, and Health & Safety.What We Offer :
