Job Summary Our Fitter is responsible for facilitating the completion of steel structures in compliance with blueprints and pre-engineered drawings.

Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints efficiently. Lay out and position metal designs for completion. Perform MIG welding processes. Heat, form, and dress metal parts using welding equipment. Add stiffeners, brackets, face plates, etc., using prints for location prior to finish welding. Maintain a safe, clean working environment. Hold configurations or positions for welding as required. Work proficiently within a team environment. Use measuring equipment accurately. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Must pass a 1G weld test. Experience in manufacturing / fabrication preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Positive attitude and team spirit. Follow safety procedures, including PPE usage. Competencies Adaptability : Adjusts to changes and manages competing demands effectively. Attendance / Punctuality : Consistently on time and responsible for work responsibilities. Dependability : Follows instructions, responds to management, and completes tasks reliably. Initiative : Volunteers, seeks growth, and takes independent actions. Safety and Security : Observes safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions. Physical Demands and Work Environment Stand, walk, bend, kneel, or crawl frequently. Use hand and finger dexterity regularly. Work near moving mechanical parts and in loud environments.
