Central Distribution Planner
Job responsibilities
As our Central Distribution Planner, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the distribution of Bulgari products. You will be responsible for developing and executing the distribution strategy and closely monitoring performance to maximize revenue and meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
Accountabilities
- Determine and manage allocation across different sales channels, balancing revenue maximization with inventory control and minimizing stockouts and backorders. Continuously analyze performance and tailor approach as needed.
- Ability to develop accurate revenue forecasts for Business Partner channel and closely monitor actual performance against those projections. Strong understanding of financial modeling and data analysis techniques to provide valuable insights into revenue trends and opportunities and ability to communicate financial information effectively.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards, strong attitude for data visualization and transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Ability to design user-friendly interfaces, integrate data from various sources. Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implement corrective actions; act as the team's and manager’s go-to resource for Power BI and analysis.
- Provide support to Local Distribution Planning and Local teams by communicating product availability and recommending distribution strategies tailored to specific market needs and constraints. Collaborate to optimize customer demand and address local market challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including Local Distribution Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory team, Central Merchandising, Central Marketing, Logistics teams and Channel Management, ensure alignment of plans and proactive information sharing.
Profile
Qualifications / Professional Capabilities
2 years’ experience in Distribution Planning or similar role, preferably within the luxury goods industryIn-depth understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics coordinationPossesses advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, SAP ECC / S4, MS Office Suite, and particularly Power BI for data analysis and reportingNegotiation skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders effectivelyFluent in English, proficiency in a second European language is a plus.Additional information
