Supply Chain Planner

Multi-national manufacturer based in Dublin are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their company on a 6-month basis with the possibility of extension or permanency. With an ongoing focus on best practice, growth and continuous improvement, this business has invested in its planning and supply chain infrastructure and leadership. This position is key to support the supply chain team lead and manager to focus on supply chain performance and planning. This role would also suit a Production or Inventory planner who is looking to step up into a full Supply Chain Planning role with mentoring from the Supply Chain Team Lead.

Responsibilities :

• Use of ERP based planning systems to build and manage production and purchasing plans.
• Liaise with suppliers to place and manage orders, ensuring supply of finished product through our global supply chain
• Managing and communicating any supply shortfalls internally and externally
• Set-up new products and manage bill of materials in ERP system.
