Mobile Facilities Technician

About the Role

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking an experienced and proactive Mobile Facilities Technician to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines building maintenance, vendor coordination, and non-technical handyman services across our properties. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of building systems, a safe and comfortable environment for occupants, and full compliance with health, safety, and maintenance standards.

You will work closely with our dedicated Facilities Account Manager and a range of specialist vendors to deliver best-in-class building operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities including repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Act as the main contact for building occupants, handling queries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform visual daily checks on building systems, including Fire Alarms, BMS, Backup Power, and Security Systems.
• Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and daily plantroom inspections.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors, ensuring safety compliance and timely work completion.
• Assist with cleaning standards, rubbish removal, emergency route maintenance, and general building upkeep.
• Support sustainability initiatives by identifying energy efficiency and waste reduction opportunities.
• Carry out non-technical handyman services (e.g., light bulb replacements, minor painting, furniture moves).
• Support office configuration projects including furniture assembly, relocation, and set-ups.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Account Manager to maintain open communication and address issues.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) as needed.
